Secret resolutions

Ages ago someone has told me that if I tell my dream loudly it won't come true.
Is it true? What do you think? Is the same with New Year's resolutions? Won't risk and I won't tell you my New Year's resolutions. I have hidden them in my project which I made sometime ago and have shown in my small exhibition in the Westhope College ( btw if you want to learn some of techniques which I have shown on this piece, pop in to the Westhope College and book art journal classes with me! lol )

This week's Stampotique challenge theme is New Year's Resolution.

Few more days and I should catch up, at last!

As always January is very busy setting my arty goals, planning and preparing my workshops. A lot to do but how exiting it is! 

Here is a project which I have made for my little exhibition in the Westhope College. 

I used 13arts products and also DecoArt Media Crackle Paste and Kasia's stencils from TCW.

New toys + art journal workshops

My lovely followers, readers, friends!

I wish you a happy and magical New Year!

I have brought from my Middlesbrough trip some new toys - two colours of ColourArte Silks and Primary Elements. Fab products! Love them and need more! 
Here is a first spread with them (when I finished it and closed the journal I realised that I made it other way round in my art journal yhh).

I also used a lot of scraps for layers and Kasia's lovely stencil from TCW.
You can also find there a few Stampotique stamps. My little Nina from last release and Dream definition, Art junkie, Spheres.

I would like to share with you very exiting news!
From February 2015 I'm starting to run art journal workshops in Westhope College.
The workshops are for beginners and for those who wants to discover new techniques.
Each class will be different. Every time I will introduce you to new techniques and products.
But most important we will have a lot of fun creating  together in very friendly environment. We will let the inspiration flow!

p.s. Did I say something about delicious lunches in the College? ;)

Time flies

Good news! My projects will stay on the college walls for few more weeks. If you haven't seen them and would like to just pop in to the Westhope college. 

Because some of you live far away I will show some of this projects on my blog anyway.

Yesterday I spent all day in the college. It was a great day as always! Many creative people around and lovely lunch! My students were really talented. Miss this place already but will come back next year! From February I will be running art journal workshops there twice a month! I will give you more info very soon. 

This one I have made especially for this small exhibition. I used 13arts mists, some paints a few more products. But my favourites are DecoArt  Media Crackle Paste and the glass clock which I brought from Ireland. My lovely friend Agnieszka gave it to me just before leaving. Thank you Agus!

I also really like The Crafter's Workshop stencil designed by Kasia.

Stampotique + amazing weekend

It was an amazing weekend with such lovely people...

Last weekend I spent in the north of the UK in Middlesbrough (still don't know where is it lol) at Art Workshops. What can I say?! It was an amazing time with wonderful people. Full of fun and very emotional.

It was a challenge for me for sure. I have never been in any mixed media workshops. I wasn't sure if I would be able to create anything when people were around me. But I could! And it wasn't so bad lol

I have lovely ladies around my table. And a very special - hyper one next to me :P

fish and chips without chips

Few days ago I made two new art journals. I bought watercolour paper and sewed the pages together using coptic stitch. I'm sure I made something wrong because not all stitches are the same but the most important my journal is stitched and not falling apart. 

The pages are simple. I used Galeria acrylic paint, 13arts stencil, TCW stencils designed by Kasia and black pen.

On Friday I'm off to Ireland for a weekend to meet my crafty friends. It will be very inspiring and emotional weekend. I hope I will find the mojo around the lovely girls.

Back to beginning

Where was I? In fields, garden etc. The weather in the UK has been so nice this summer that there wasn't any chance to sit in my studio. But there is also the other reason...simply I couldn't find mojo. I couldn't create anything...no ideas and everything which I made was rubbish :P

Last week I was so depressed (lol) that I thought about leaving my two lovely DT's. Don't even ask...

The only rescue for me in the situations like this is back to the beginning...what does it mean? Back to things which I like to create most.

Here is a spread which I have made for Stampotique Originals challenge.

The only stamp on these pages is Raindrops designed by myself. The rest of the images are painted. I used Galeria acrylic paints, oil pastels, colour pencils and TCW stencils designed by Kasia.
