A few days ago I have been ask by
Jaine to join the Creative hop blog. I'm not a huge fan of hop blogs especially when I need to answer some questions but I need to improve my English and I said 'yes' lol I'm really honoured, thank you
Jaine! Pop in to Jaine's blog not only to check other people who joined the hop blog but also to see what an amazing and talented friend I have! ;)
Ok, two deep breaths and here we go...
1. What am I working on?
I wish I knew...I have started a few bigger projects and they are still waiting. Before I will find my mojo and finished them I have a few smaller projects on my table - projects for DT's and magazine commission. Ups...almost forgot about my tutorials for
13arts where I have started my new journey as Educator.
Meantime I'm working on my new blog (it's a secret for now) and I have started my miniature garden (don't even ask!;)). But the most important thing for now is to prepare some projects for Westhope Craft Collage craft fair and have a good thought about
my first life course which is in less then two weeks!
2. How does my work differ from others in my genre?
It's hard to say in a few words especially if I'm not sure why. I can't say that they are different because they are colourful and full of textures. Of course they are but there is a lot of colourful projects and full of textures. But I can say for sure that I'm most often inspired by quotes and music. Maybe this is an answer?
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
All my life I have been a crafty person, I can't live without making things. It can be drawing, crocheting, scrapbooking or making furnitures (have never tried, not yet;)), it doesn't matter. It need to be something where I can develop and have fun in one go.
4. How does your writing/creative process work?
Usually I sit in my studio listening music (sad music is much more inspiring then happy one;)) and create without thinking what I'm doing. If I think about it I know from the start that it will be a rubbish. I haven't got any inspirational board or notebook. Sometimes I look at internet for some inspiration but before I shut my computer I forget what the inspiration was.
I'm not creating if I haven't got mood or have a head full of other thoughts - I'm too exited to craft if I have a brain storm about other ideas.
Unfortunately I haven't found anyone who would like to participate in this hop blog. I know only a few favourite crafty people and all of them said 'no time, not this time' ;)
