My fav colours

There is no chance I can make a project using my favourite colours! Why? Because I love all colours.
Choice of music, colours etc. depend on my mood the day when I create. This time I choose yellow with white and black (my all time fav).

As you probably know looking at my artworks I love using a lot of colours in my projects. It is great sitting in my studio and creating choosing and mixing colours together. But the best thing is I was given an opportunity to share my interest in colours and techniques. In November I'm running two short workshops in Westhope college and from February I will run regular art journal classes in Westhope college!!! How exiting! I really looking forward to it and I hope I will meet some of you there.

Back to my today's project...I made it for Stampotique Originals challenge - favourite colours.

back to work

It's time to spend some time in my studio after an amazing trip to Ireland with some scary moments. A lot to tell but maybe another time. Thank you girls for an amazing time!!!

I have made two pages for todays DT posts.
Here is the page for Stampotique Originals challenge - Black&Pink&Purple.  I used my Romek and Circles Cube from a new release. I also stamped my Raindrops. Check out the Stampotique challenge blog for more inspiration. Girls created stunning projects!

My second page is for 13arts but I also use a few stamps from Stampotique. Pop in to the blog to see more photos and step by step tutorial.

fish and chips without chips

Thank you for your lovely comments. It's good to know that you are there. You are a big motivation for me and also an inspiration. Thank you xxx

Few days ago I made two new art journals. I bought watercolour paper and sewed the pages together using coptic stitch. I'm sure I made something wrong because not all stitches are the same but the most important my journal is stitched and not falling apart.

The pages are simple. I used Galeria acrylic paint, 13arts stencil, TCW stencils designed by Kasia and black pen.

On Friday I'm off to Ireland for a weekend to meet my crafty friends. It will be very inspiring and emotional weekend. I hope I will find the mojo around the lovely girls.

Back to beginning

Where was I? In fields, garden etc. The weather in the UK has been so nice this summer that there wasn't any chance to sit in my studio. But there is also the other reason...simply I couldn't find mojo. I couldn't create anything...no ideas and everything which I made was rubbish :P
Last week I was so depressed (lol) that I thought about leaving my two lovely DT's. Don't even ask...
The only rescue for me in the situations like this is back to the beginning...what does it mean? Back to things which I like to create most.

Here is a spread which I have made for Stampotique Originals challenge.
The only stamp on these pages is Raindrops designed by myself. The rest of the images are painted. I used Galeria acrylic paints, oil pastels, colour pencils and TCW stencils designed by Kasia.
