Stampotique challenge #157

It's hard to think about Christmas when the temperature outside is 27C...Long British summer is here. Few weeks walking on sunshine and I'm more brown than ever.

I just couldn't make anything more Christmasy than this...
I added Lola because I try to add her everywhere lol But I think she looks pretty good on Christmas theme projects. I'm sure I will add her to my Christmas cards (if I will make some this year;)).

Whatever you are and whatever you do I hope you have a lovely weather.

boho mojo is back

Last time I showed my card on Monday 11th February 2013. Long time ago...Since then I haven't made any cards. But when I touched Boho Chic collection last Wednesday I knew that I needed to make and I would make some new cards from it.

The collection is made by Karola Witczak. She is an amazing and very talented girl. Her layouts and other projects are fab not mention her collections which I really love!
Every time when Karola has her new collection she always says to me 'the collection is not in your style, you won't like it' and every time I try to show her that she is wrong!
The collections are for everyone, believe me!

I have made a lot of projects from Karola's papers when I was a designer for The Scrap Cake. All of this projects were made in 2011/2012 - great years for my art work. I made a lot of projects these days and I still like them lol.
My favourites: here, here, here, here, here and here. Oh and I like this one too. Oh nooo I like more! But don't want you to be bored. If you would like to see my projects from Karola's papers click here.

Here is my new card. It was a real pleasure to work with Boho Chic. More projects to follow!
Oh forgot to say, I also used my Raindrops designed by me for Stampotique.

My Stampotique challenge and a lot more

What a horrible blogger I am...I haven't blogged properly for ages.
'Sunshine all the time makes a desert' also on my blog! The weather is so nice (yes, it's sunshine here in the UK!;)) ... I deserve a kick ;)

A little self-defence...I have prepared a really long post about Acrylic Liquid Medium for 13arts blog. It's in English and has a lot of photos. If you are curious what the acrylic liquid medium is and what can you do with that please check the 13arts blog.

From yesterday we have had a new challenge at Stampotique Originals Challenge blog! This time my turn to ask you to prepare projects using newspaper or magazine.
I made a tag with Agatha. I will take her with me to the Westhope Exhibition and Craft Fair on Sunday maybe someone will give her a new home.

Questions and answers Creative blog hop - my confession

A few days ago I have been ask by Jaine to join the Creative hop blog. I'm not a huge fan of hop blogs especially when I need to answer some questions but I need to improve my English and I said 'yes' lol I'm really honoured, thank you Jaine! Pop in to Jaine's blog not only to check other people who joined the hop blog but also to see what an amazing and talented friend I have! ;)

Ok, two deep breaths and here we go...

1. What am I working on?
I wish I knew...I have started a few bigger projects and they are still waiting. Before I will find my mojo and finished them I have a few smaller projects on my table - projects for DT's and magazine commission. Ups...almost forgot about my tutorials for 13arts where I have started my new journey as Educator.
Meantime I'm working on my new blog (it's a secret for now) and I have started my miniature garden (don't even ask!;)). But the most important thing for now is to prepare some projects for Westhope Craft Collage craft fair and have a good thought about my first life course which is in less then two weeks!

2. How does my work differ from others in my genre?
It's hard to say in a few words especially if I'm not sure why. I can't say that they are different because they are colourful and full of textures. Of course they are but there is a lot of colourful projects and full of textures. But I can say for sure that I'm most often inspired by quotes and music. Maybe this is an answer?

3. Why do I write/create what I do?
All my life I have been a crafty person, I can't live without making things. It can be drawing, crocheting, scrapbooking or making furnitures (have never tried, not yet;)), it doesn't matter. It need to be something where I can develop and have fun in one go.

4. How does your writing/creative process work?
Usually I sit in my studio listening music (sad music is much more inspiring then happy one;)) and create without thinking what I'm doing. If I think about it I know from the start that it will be a rubbish. I haven't got any inspirational board or notebook. Sometimes I look at internet for some inspiration but before I shut my computer I forget what the inspiration was.
I'm not creating if I haven't got mood or have a head full of other thoughts - I'm too exited to craft if I have a brain storm about other ideas.

Unfortunately I haven't found anyone who would like to participate in this hop blog. I know only a few favourite crafty people and all of them said 'no time, not this time' ;)

I'm a dog person but...

Here is my project for Stampotique Originals challenge Anniversary, Wedding and Love
Unfortunately because I was away and blogger isn't my best friend, I didn't published my project and information about the challenge earlier. But pop in to the Stampotique Originals challenge blog to see a new challenge - Vacation.

You can ask me why I didn't use my own stamps for this project, especially Ignis Heart or Agatha Heart. What can I say, I love Kira's cute kitties (Kitty Squad)! I'm not a big fan of cats (you know I prefer dogs) but they are sooo cute!

I used:
Kitty Squad by Kira
Life by Maria

I also used 13arts Ayeeda VIVID paints (Magenta, Violet) and Ayeeda Silver Pearl paint.
